This process is enhanced by the use of topical products absorbed into the targeted area during the treatment through the microscopic channels created. Elastin and collagen production is increased as new skin cells are created. These proteins give our skin its strength, firmness, and elasticity, which are necessary ingredients for a healthy complexion. These elements naturally decrease as we age, requiring procedures like microneedling to stimulate production again.

How Long Does It Take?

During your appointment, a member of our experienced staff will use Rejuvapen™ to create microscopic channels on the skin in the desired treatment area. Each treatment lasts about 30 minutes but can vary based on the targeted area. After your appointment, you can immediately return to your daily activities, although strenuous activity should be avoided for 24 hours.

The number of treatments you need is determined by the health of your skin and the issue you are looking to address, but on average, patients receive three or four treatments, with each one occurring about one month apart. Because we stimulate the body to perform its own healing, results can be seen over the course of several weeks but will continue to improve for three to six months as your body produces new cells. Afterward, we recommend an annual microneedling treatment to maintain your results.

Many people benefit from a series of sessions. Your provider will help you decide on the best treatment plan for your needs, with sessions spaced out at intervals of about one month apart.
